Early Intervention is gentle, milestone-led physiotherapy for babies in the first weeks and months of life. It supports infants aged 0 to 18 months with tummy time, head-shape concerns, late rolling, and torticollis, working through positioning and handling so movement develops on a comfortable, even footing.
We watch your baby move, lie, and turn, and ask about birth, feeding, and sleep position. You will leave the first visit knowing what we are seeing and whether physiotherapy is the right next step.
We set a small, specific goal (steadier head control, comfortable tummy time, a more even head turn) and choose positioning and handling that work toward it without forcing anything.
Most of the work happens in your arms, on the floor, and in daily routines. We show you the handling and positioning to use, and adjust it as your baby changes.
We come back to the goal each week and change the plan as your baby grows. Some babies need longer; we will tell you which on a visit, not on the website.
No. Early intervention is built for the first weeks and months, up to about 18 months. Starting early often means smaller, gentler changes are enough.
Physiotherapy works toward an even, comfortable head turn and balanced tummy time, which is what head shape responds to at this age. We do not promise a specific result, and if a head needs more than physiotherapy we will say so and point you to the right person.
Yes, and that is most of it. The work happens in your arms and in daily routines. We show you the handling and positioning at each visit so it fits into the day you already have.
