Physiotherapy for adults (18+) living with back and neck pain, sciatica, frozen shoulder, and repetitive-strain or posture-related pain from work. Dr. Hyma assesses the cause, then works toward easier movement with hands-on therapy, graded exercise, and practical changes to how you sit, lift, and work.
Before any hands-on work, Dr. Hyma takes a full history and screens how you move, what hurts, and when. The aim is to find what is driving the pain, not just where you feel it.
Hands-on treatment chosen for your case: spinal manual therapy, myofascial release, or craniosacral work. It is used to ease stiffness and pain, not as the whole plan on its own.
A small set of exercises that start where you are and build over weeks. You leave each session knowing exactly what to do at home, and why.
If your desk, lifting, or daily habits feed the pain, we sort that out. Practical changes to how you sit and work, so progress in the clinic holds outside it.
We do not promise that, and you should be wary of anyone who does. Physiotherapy works toward less pain and easier movement, and toward keeping it that way. Some people need a few weeks; some need longer. We will tell you which on the first visit, not on the website.
No referral is needed to come in for an assessment. If your case needs imaging or a specialist opinion, we will say so and coordinate with your doctor rather than work around it.
Both, in the proportion your case needs. Manual therapy eases pain and stiffness; graded exercise and ergonomic changes address what caused it. Hands-on work alone rarely holds without the rest.
